Optodesigner version 5.14 software for advanced integrated photonic chip design has added more automation to the design layout process, while providing the foundation for the eventual synthesis, placement, and routing of full photonic circuits. Features include referenceable boundary ports, waypoint-assisted Manhattan routing, and phase-aware waveguide routing.
