Thorlabs to show manual translation stages at SPIE Photonics West 2018

Jan. 23, 2018
The XR Series manual translation stages feature crossed-roller bearings and a full aluminum body.

The XR Series manual translation stages feature crossed-roller bearings and a full aluminum body for precision motion, high load capacity, and low angular deviation. Rear- and side-actuated versions and components are available to have left- or right-handed X, XY, XZ, YZ, and XYZ configurations. A dovetail feature is incorporated into the design for stacking stages and attaching the available component mounting carriers. The dovetail also allows for coarse positional alignment. The stages offer 25 or 50 mm translation with metric micrometers, <150 µrad of angular deviation in pitch and yaw, and at least 170 lbs horizontal load capacity.
