Let’s recap all the business announcements in photonics from August 2022.
A line of 48 mm focal-length telecentric f-theta lenses for x-y galvo scanners can be used with ultrashort-pulse lasers.
F-theta lenses have a laser spot position linearly proportional to the scan angle and are thus useful in many laser-scanning applications.
The S4LFT2430/328 f-theta lens for XY galvo scanners has a 30 mm input aperture and a focal length of 420 mm.
The S4LFT4065/328, S4LFT4066/292, and S4LFT4067/075 short-focal-length telecentric f-theta lenses are available for 1064, 532, and 355 nm.
S4LFT7010/450 and S4LFT7012/292 color-corrected f-theta lenses use multiple glass types in their design.
Ultrafast laser optics must overcome the unusually amplified obstacles of dispersion, color aberrations, and ghost reflections.
The model S4LFT2500/328 f-theta lens is designed for multi-kilowatt, high-power lasers.
