Custom diffractive waveguides can be fabricated for specific applications in see-through optical displays.

Custom diffractive waveguides can be fabricated for specific applications in see-through optical displays, including head-mounted displays (HMDs), head-up displays (HUDs), and other augmented reality (AR) displays. Single- and multi-substrate waveguides up to 350 mm2, with λ/8 P-V/in. wavefront with optical transmission >99% from 420 nm to 2.2 μm, are supported.
