Alnair Labs variable filter is tunable from 1525 to 1610 nm

Feb. 23, 2015
The CVF-300CL bandwidth- and wavelength-tunable filter offers wavelength tunability from 1525 to 1610 nm.

The CVF-300CL bandwidth- and wavelength-tunable filter offers wavelength tunability from 1525 to 1610 nm, >1000 dB/nm roll-off, a minimum 30 pm (3.75 GHz) bandwidth, and 50 dB suppression. A measurement by one of the company's customers at Melbourne University shows that the filter's bandwidth can go as narrow as 0.0125 nm. The same measurement also shows the filter edge roll-off is actually 1680 dB/nm, which is higher than the filter's specified 1000 dB/nm.
