Oxide Corporation to showcase ferroelectric QPM device at CLEO:2015

May 4, 2015
The PP-LBGO QPM device for UV light generation is a periodically poled structure created in the ferroelectric material LaBGeO5.

The PP-LBGO quasi-phase-matching (QPM) device for UV light generation is a periodically poled structure created in the ferroelectric material LaBGeO5. Transparent down to 200 nm, the device could solve the problems of conventional nonlinear devices (LBO, BBO, and CLBO), such as hygroscopy and birefringence walk-off.
