A line of precision-molded infrared (IR) optics made from chalcogenide glasses has use in applications in the shortwave IR (SWIR) to longwave IR (LWIR) range, including civil and defense applications.

A line of precision-molded infrared (IR) optics made from chalcogenide glasses has use in applications in the shortwave IR (SWIR) to longwave IR (LWIR) range, including civil and defense applications. Chalcogenide glasses offer good transparency from SWIR to LWIR and a higher operating temperature range. The company produces these lenses in medium-to-large batches using precision molding processes. Versions include centered and antireflective coated lenses and single- and double-sided aspherical lenses, up to 30 mm in size.
