Beam-delivery arm

Jan. 1, 1997
An articulated arm is designed for OEM integration for delivery of laser beams. With an aperture diameter of 17 mm, the stainless-steel handpiece can accommodate one of several focusing lenses. Optics are available for Nd:YAG (1064 nm and 532 nm) and ruby (694 nm) wavelengths that allow an alignment HeNe laser (at 633 nm) to be used with the system. The arm has seven rotary knuckles and is made of reinforced carbon fiber and aluminum alloy.
