The GEO optical polishing platform can be configured for polishing waveguides, PIC optical chips, PLCs, and fiber arrays.

The GEO optical polishing platform can be configured for polishing waveguides, PIC optical chips, PLCs, and fiber arrays. Polished endface angles can be varied from 0° to 50° using either manual or automated workholder stages. Flat, angled, and multifaceted geometries can be formed on optical chip edges and endfaces. Its component mounting plate adjusts for varying edge widths and thickness.
