Sapphire cover glass features antireflection coating on both sides
Sapphire cover glass for fiber lasers prevent the laser’s optical components from damage caused by slag and spatter on lasers from 4 kW. They feature Mohs 9 hardness, antireflection coating on both sides, >99.5% transmission at 1.06 µm with >80% at 650–670 nm, 10-5 scratch-dig finish, and 1/4 wave transmitted wavefront.
