A re-polishing service salvages fabricated optics when the original dielectric coating does not meet specifications or was damaged during manufacturing. Re-polishing substrates provides a time- and cost-saving option to replace a coating that is not working properly, and provide a precision optic that is finished to specifications on substrates up to 24 in. diameter.
