Orlando, FL, August 26, 2002 - ILDA 2002 Conference and Tradeshow will take place at the Coronado Springs Hotel at Walt Disney World Resort. This year's meeting will feature several seminars focusing on advancements in Laser Display technology, including solid-state lasers and high-speed scanning.
In addition, the ILDA Tradeshow gives attendees the opportunity to meet the laser lightshow equipment manufacturers in a relaxed and informative setting. The ILDA Conference gives Association members a chance to "jam" together and show their work at the popular Lase Off event. The ILDA Awards Ceremony, honoring the best in laser display over the last year, takes place on Tuesday evening, November 25.
The International Laser Display Association, the foremost trade association representing laser display producers and manufacturers worldwide, presents the "ILDA 2002" Conference. The meeting is being co-hosted by three long-time ILDA members:
Lighting Systems Design, Inc. -- an Orlando-based laser display company with 20 years of laser light show production experience
Pangolin Laser Systems -- the leader in market share for laser display software
Walt Disney World -- a pioneer in the use of lasers in large-scale entertainment venues, going back to Epcot Center's "Laserphonic Fantasy" in 1984, through to the current "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth" show.
"ILDA 2002 will show that the laser display industry has made giant strides in the standardization of equipment" said Executive Director Page Howard. "As a result we will see multiple control systems available for hands-on evaluation at the Lase Off event. Plus, the ILDA Awards Ceremony will highlight the excellence of laser display companies from around the world."
