Accommodating rapid growth, Pulse Systems adds laser cutting machine
Medical industry supplier Pulse Systems (Concord, CA) has acquired additional computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools to support the company's rapid growth, and has expanded its facilities space to accommodate the new capital equipment.
The recent CNC equipment acquisitions include a second Tsugami LaserSwiss machine, as well as several conventional Star Swiss screw machines, bringing the total number of CNC screw machines operated by the company to 11. The Tsugami LaserSwiss machine combines laser cutting with the turning and milling capabilities of a Swiss screw machine.
To house the additional equipment and business activities, the company has added 7000 sq. ft. of facility space to its Concord headquarters, which now comprises a total of just over 25,000 sq. ft., and employs 90 personnel.
