The LASER P 400 laser texturing system combines a femtosecond laser with five-axis texturing.
The LASER P 400 laser texturing system from GF Machining Solutions (Satigny, Switzerland) combines a femtosecond laser with five-axis texturing to enable aesthetic textures such as ripple effects (holographic textures) and functional textures. Applied to the surface, the femtosecond laser pulses create nanoscale texturing in the form of a wavy structure (<100nm and with pitch ~800nm) comprised of projections and recesses. The system's modular concept includes a patented laser head that can combine two laser sources for texturing and/or engraving the same surface, with the ability to automatically switch between the two sources. It also offers a 600 × 400 × 250mm working area with access and process monitoring via two large sliding doors. For more information, please visit www.gfms.com.
