May 21--Technology Education Concepts (TEC), the North American Academic Distributor of 3D engineering and manufacturing software, hardware, and curriculum programs, will host its 13th Annual TEC Summer Institute (TSI) July 9 - 11, 2007 at the Hampton Inn in Bow, NH, and TEC.

Exclusively designed for educators, TSI provides 24+ instructional hours of hands-on training, classroom materials, and innovative curriculum designed to assist technology educators by increasing their knowledge of CAD, CAM, and laser technologies. An important component is the interaction between educators from across North America who are able to collaborate, network, and take home new classroom and curriculum ideas exchanged with fellow attendees.

The week of hands-on training is taught by certified professional educators. Course offerings include laser technologies with GCC lasers. A Z Corp. 3D printer will be available to provide attendees with the opportunity to produce rapid prototypes of their designs throughout the week. Additionally, in an open evening lab assistants will be available to answer questions and assist with additional software training. Educators who participate have the opportunity to earn graduate credits accredited through Keene State College, Keene, NH.
