May 16--LPKF SolarQuipment, a subsidiary of LPKF Laser and Electronics, has two more orders for Allegro solar structurers

May 16--LPKF SolarQuipment, a subsidiary of LPKF Laser and Electronics, has two more orders for Allegro solar structurers. These laser systems are used to produce thin-film solar cells on large glass substrates. The details of the orders remain confidential as agreed with the customer.

LPKF announced its entry into the solar market in January 2007 with an order for two solar structures. The subsidiary, located in Suhl, Germany, was started up at the end of March 2007 and concentrates exclusively on the distribution, development, and production of laser structurers for solar cells.
