Laser Research Optics, Providence, R.I., is offering a full line of laser beam steering optics for marking components and cutting boards.

Laser Research CO2 lenses are A/R coated, optimized for use at 10.6 µm, and are offered in 1/2-inch to 1-1/2-inch dia. sizes. Focal lengths are from 1 to 25 inches in 1/2-inch increments to accommodate various marking and cutting requirements. Mirrors and reflectors come in 1/2-inch to 3-inch dia. sizes from 2 to 10 mm thick, and are made from silicon, molybdenum, and copper to match customer requirements.

These are drop-in replacements for Coherent, Epilog, Kern, Gravograph, Synrad, Trotec, Universal, and similar lasers. Laser Research CO2 laser optics meet OEM and ISO-10110 specifications. The lenses feature 40-20 scratch-dig surface quality and <0.2% absorption values. The mirrors conform to NASA’s NHB 5300.4 and MIL-Q-9858 quality specifications.
