Leading Northeast jobshop increases staff as business expands.

Westford, MA Laser Services (www.laserservicesusa.com), Inc., an ISO and AS-9100 registered precision laser cutting, drilling,scribing, etching, and welding job shop, has announced the hiring of several new team members in response to over a 15% growth in 2011.

In the sales department, Ken Silber has joined as a Sales Representative bringing a long history of varied business experience and manufacturing knowledge. Ken will be handling several key accounts and new business development. Phil Kendall, Sales Representative, adds to the team over 20 years of sales, product, and operations management experience in the medical device and technical ceramics markets. Phil’s experience and deep technical knowledge will have him focused on OEM and component manufacturing accounts. Jamese Rivera, Sales Representative has over 10 years of customer service experience in various manufacturing environments. He will be focusing on institutional customers.

Susan Sullivan has joined their administrative staff in the role of Human Resources Representative and Purchasing Coordinator. She will be the primary purchaser for ceramic materials, metals and other inventoried materials, as well as customer specific inventory for just-in-time deliveries. Rounding out the new hires are Decio Ferreria in the Marking Department, Jose Colon in Administration and Reception, and Jonah Morton in the Processing Department. Two Co-op students from Greater Lowell Technical High School, Iziah Martinez and Michael Chhun, are also onboard as active members of the Laser Services team.
