LNA Laser Technology has introduced its MP2 diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser marking system.

LNA Laser Technology (Pawtucket, RI) has introduced its MP2 diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser marking system, which has uses in applications that require high resolution and where high-speed throughput is not required. Features include a DPSS laser, laser beam galvanometer scanning optics, control electronics, and marking software. The laser provides 3ns pulse duration and 30kW peak power (max), and runs on 24 VDC. The laser's 1064nm infrared wavelength allows laser marking a wide range of materials, such as metals, plastics, and some organics. An optional laser safe enclosure is available.
