Intracavity harmonic laser maker Photonics Industries has shipped the largest single order of its picosecond lasers to date.

Ronkonkoma, NY - Intracavity harmonic laser maker Photonics Industries has shipped the largest single order of its picosecond lasers to date. The eight-figure order was for the company's RGH Series picosecond lasers, which are used in the machines that fabricate wearable mobile devices for a major consumer electronics company. The lasers' high pulse energy, manufacturing capacity, and total pulse control were the reason for the selection.

To meet the peak demand from the customer, the company's flexible manufacturing platform was able to scale production volumes to over 20 picosecond lasers per week.
