November 9, 2006, Milpitas, CA--A JDSU argon ion laser made it onto prime time television screens last night on the CBS series "CSI: NY."

In the episode titled "Consequences," the investigation into the death of a paintball player becomes more complicated when the team's prime suspect goes missing and the evidence at that scene possibly implicates one of their own. The laser was used in a forensics lab scene to identify a fingerprint.
