    Nuremberg, Germany--Optical fiber maker Leoni Fiber Optics will open a representative office in Lyon, France, effective October 1, as close proximity to the French and Italian optical technology markets will be key for business.

    Nuremberg, Germany--Optical fiber maker Leoni Fiber Optics will open a representative office in Lyon, France, effective October 1, as close proximity to the French and Italian optical technology markets will be key for business.

    Existing business in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Benelux countries will be handled by the Lyon office. The management team in Lyon consists of Cedric Baille and Elodie Ecoto. Baille has been responsible for the southern and western European business as the company's regional manager since 2010.
