Val Moshkovskiy joins G-S Plastic Optics as senior applications engineer

Rochester, NY--G-S Plastic Optics, a unit of the Germanow-Simon Companies, has named Val Moshkovskiy as the company's new senior applications engineer.

Rochester, NY--G-S Plastic Optics, a unit of the Germanow-Simon Companies, has named Val Moshkovskiy as the company's new senior applications engineer.

In his new role, Moshkovskiy will support existing and prospective customers, develop proposals for the design and manufacturing of injection-molded polymer optical components, and manage assigned programs. Previously, he served as senior product manager at both Volpi Manufacturing and IDEX Optics & Photonics.

Earlier in his career, Moshkovskiy was an optical engineer at two noted engineering firms in the Ukraine. He also taught engineering for eight years at the College of Radio-Electronic Engineering in Kiev, Ukraine, and is a graduate of the Kiev Polytechnical Institute and the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester. Val speaks four languages.
