PhotoMachining appoints Joey Placenti technical sales engineer

Pelham, NH--Laser micromachining contract manufacturing company PhotoMachining appointed Joey Placenti to the role of technical sales engineer.

Pelham, NH--Laser micromachining and custom laser system integration company PhotoMachining announced the appointment of Joey Placenti as its new technical sales engineer based at the company's headquarters in Pelham, NH. Placenti's primary objective is to service the expanding business opportunities for laser micromachining contract manufacturing and system sales.

Placenti has many years of sales and marketing experience in the microelectronics and interconnect industries. He has worked for companies such as Hadco, Coretec, and Endicott Interconnect Technologies.

PhotoMachining's contract manufacturing services use different laser types such as microfabrication-CO2, excimer, DPSS, fiber, and ultrafast lasers. Its micromachining systems--incorporating laser beam delivery, motion control, and machine vision--are used in materials processing in the medical device, microelectronics, defense/aerospace, and renewable energy fields. In addition, the company provides R&D services, process development, and analytical services.
