Mirror Technology Days 2012 event seeks participants

Rochester, NY--Mirror Technology Days 2012, an annual SBIR/STTR event that summarizes the US Government's investment strategies and activities in development technology that requires optical components (like telescopes, imaging systems, seeker/trackers, high-energy laser systems, and solar energy), is currently seeking participation.

Rochester, NY--Mirror Technology Days 2012, an annual SBIR/STTR event that summarizes the US Government's investment strategies and activities in development technology that requires optical components (like telescopes, imaging systems, seeker/trackers, high-energy laser systems, and solar energy), is currently seeking participation. To take place from July 30 to August 3 in Rochester, the event covers technology investment efforts in optical materials, substrate design and manufacture, optical fabrication and metrology technology, optical coatings, wavefront sensing and control via adaptive optics, nanotechnology imaging technologies, etc.

The Rochester Regional Photonics Cluster (RRPC) will be hosting the event, and registration will start in May. Presentations to share at the event are being accepted until April 6; please send presentation information to [email protected] and include Presentation Title, Presenter Name, Company Name, Sponsoring US Government Agency, and OPEN or CLOSED Session (OPEN sessions are for basic mirror technology development research, while CLOSED sessions are Export or ITAR Controlled Presentations. Attendance for CLOSED sessions is restricted to US Citizens and Green Card Holders).
