IMRA America, Jenoptik Laser sign expanded licensing agreement

Ann Arbor, MI--IMRA America, Inc. (IMRA) and Jenoptik Laser GmbH have completed a more expansive, second licensing agreement for the use of IMRA's '630 patented technology.

Ann Arbor, MI--IMRA America, Inc. (IMRA) and Jenoptik Laser GmbH have completed a more expansive, second licensing agreement for the use of IMRA's '630 patented technology. This agreement enables Jenoptik to serve the rapidly growing market for high-power fiber lasers, which are used most notably in automotive manufacturing.

Licensing IMRA's '630 patented technology will help to enhance Jenoptik's participation in the emerging high-power fiber laser market worldwide, says Dr. Thomas Fehn, executive vice president of Jenoptik´s Lasers & Material Processing division.
