Sept. 19, 2013

The U.S.'s proposed Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies Initiative, known as the BRAIN Initiative , is a part of the President’s Fiscal Year 2014 Budget proposal. If approved by Congress, it would include $100 million in investments towards advancing neurophotonics, among other technologies. (Please stay tuned for BioOptics World’s September/October 2013 issue, too, for more on the BRAIN Initiative.)
