Santec to show ultra-broadband spectral equalizer at LASER World of Photonics China 2017

March 2, 2017
The λEqualizer ultra-broadband spectral equalizer, which supports wavelengths between 900 and 1750 nm, is based on liquid crystal on silicon.

The λEqualizer ultra-broadband spectral equalizer, which supports wavelengths between 900 and 1750 nm, is based on liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS). The equalizer achieves 2 nm wavelength resolution with an optical attenuation range of 100% to 1%. Optical single-mode fibers are available for the optical input and output ports. Applications include astrophysics, spectroscopy, and laser sensing applications, among others.
