Polarization-dependent loss emulator features high dynamic range
A multichannel benchtop polarization-dependent loss emulator emulates a known polarization-dependent loss (PDL) level for quantifying polarization impairments and effects in a fiber-optic network. The device features high linear dynamic range, flat wavelength response over C- and L-bands, low insertion loss, and low residual polarization mode dispersion.
