The B Series of silicon photomultipliers provide >40% photon detection efficiency at 420 nm and extended responsivity to 300 nm. They have <250 ps (FWHM) of coincidence resolving time, rise times of <100 ps with 2 ns pulsewidth, temperature stability of <20 mV per degree Celsius, and active detector areas of 0.25, 1, 3, or 6 mm.SensL

[email protected]----- PRESS RELEASE B Series SiPM Announced >40% PDE @ 420nm We continue to innovate! SensL is pleased to announce a new silicon photomultiplier family called "B Series". This 4th generation SiPM follows on the highly successful "L Series" family first launched in 2010 and on the footsteps of the "M Series" which was introduced in 2012. The "B Series" SiPM is truly exciting and sets a new industry standard for price-performance leadership. A few highlights: >40% PDE at 420nm and extended responsivity to 300nm for improved UV sensitivity <250ps of coincidence resolving time (FWHM) for LYSO crystal emission Ultra-fast rise times of <100ps with 2ns pulse width for improved multi-photon resolution capability Temperature stability of <20mV per °C negating the need for active voltage control <30V operation Available in low cost, tileable, reflow solderable surface mount (SMT) packages and various array sizes .25mm, 1mm, 3mm, and 6mm active detector area The new B Series detectors are ideal for use in medical imaging, automotive/LiDAR applications, radiation detection, and biophotonics where increased blue sensitivity is a critical requirement. -----Follow us on TwitterSubscribe now to Laser Focus World magazine; it's free!
