I spoke to Philippe Bensussan, the SOFRADIR chairman and CEO, during the recent SPIE Defense and Commercial Sensing show in Baltimore. He confirms what my colleague John Keller wrote in his excellent coverage of the show and of SOFRADIR's plans for the future. Bensussan told me that he sees future opportunities for infrared technologies in smart buildings, firefighting, and automotive markets (especially for dusk and night driving).
