Large-area detectors

Aug. 1, 1996
Silicon carbide UV detectors are offered with a 2 ¥ 2-mm active area. The detectors are available in three versions: model JEC4 has no filter and is sensitive to the UVA, UVB, and UVC spectral regions; model JECF4BC filters out UVB and UVC radiation; and model JECF4 filters UVC radiation. Applications include UV source control, flame detection, combustion control, and food inspection.
