• Thermo Fisher Scientific, Cytonome enter partnership to co-develop flow cytometry platforms

Thermo Fisher Scientific and Cytonome will co-develop a new line of flow cytometry cell sorting technology.
    June 21, 2016

Life sciences solutions company Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with cell sorting systems maker Cytonome (Boston, MA) to be the exclusive distributor of a new line of flow cytometry cell sorting technology that the companies will co-develop.

Systems that have very short learning curves and time-saving features are critical to expedite discovery, particularly for researchers who are not familiar with flow cytometry. Building on Cytonome's benchtop cell sorter platform, a key objective of the partnership is to develop easy-to-use technology designed to initiate a transformation where scientists can readily take advantage of cell sorting in their labs.
