Veeco's ContourGT surface metrology family delivers up to 10x throughput improvement

Veeco Instruments' (Santa Barbara, CA) ContourGT surface metrology product family is the 10th generation of precision, noncontact, 3D optical surface profilers that delivers up to 10x capacity and throughput improvements over other systems on demanding surface measurements and analyses. Based on Veeco's white light interferometry (WLI) technology and designed to complement its NT9000 Series of profilers, the ContourGT family includes improvements in measurement hardware, compute platform, operating and analysis software, and user interface. The metrology systems address various advanced production QA/QC and R&D precision machining and manufacturing applications within the high-brightness LED, solar, ophthalmic, semiconductor, medical device, and academic research markets. The ContourGT Family features patented, higher-brightness dual-LED illumination for increased sensitivity and stability.
