Integrated medical imaging solution targets ophthalmology, dental applications

This multipurpose medical imaging solution from Toshiba Teli America, Inc. combines its FireDragon cameras and SmartDragon processor with TeliDCAM software featuring a viewer, driver and software development kit (SDK) for use in pathology, ophthalmology, dental, diagnosis and telemedicine applications. It can compress recordings 50/1 or 100/1 when recording more than 24 hours. The SmartDragon processor also has a built-in card slot for recording on industrial-grade CF cards up to 4 Gb. The FireDragon CSFS20CC2 camera captures color video images at 1280 × 1024 resolution at 20 fps to assure crisp, detail-rich results. Toshiba Teli also offers its T24MSA001-MD medical-grade (UL6061) LCD monitor with full HD (1080p) resolution for the most natural reproduction of video images and the highest level of differentiation during diagnostic analysis, video endoscopy and surgery.
