Aphelion Dev Version 4.1.1 image analysis software from Amerinex Applied Imaging (Monroe Township, NJ) for biomedical imaging applications features a Color Segmentation Extension to enable segmenting of images and extracting objects of interest based on their color intensity. It also includes four semi-automatic segmentation techniques: Interval, Distance, Region Growing, and Morphological Partition. Fine-tuning tools are also available to increase the regions of interest to provide an optimal match of the objects to be detected.
