    The SUltra portable laser system from QPC Lasers (Sylmar, CA) suits medical laser therapy, forensics and direct illumination. Based on the company's BrightLase and BrightLock fiber-coupled modules, available wavelengths for the system include 532, 980, 1064, 1470 and 1920 nm, with optical power up to 50 W (CW or pulsed). An optical fiber delivers laser output, with core sizes ranging from 50 to 800 µm.

    User-friendly Portable Compact Laser System

    Laser Operations LLC introduces SUltra™, a complete OEM turn-key solution for plastic welding and laser soldering, heat-treating, medical laser therapy, forensics and direct illumination. The system, based on QPC Lasers' line of BrightLase® and BrightLock® fiber coupled modules, is available at multiple wavelengths including 532nm, 980nm, 1064nm, 1470nm and 1920nm with optical power up to 50W CW or pulsed. The compact OEM solution (15cm x 16.2cm x 45cm / 0.4 cubic feet) comprises the laser, visible aiming beam, power supply, thermal management system and controller electronics in a single air-cooled package powered by 100 to 240 VAC. Laser output is delivered via an optical fiber with core size ranging from 50µm to 800µm and controlled through an RS-232 interface or a user friendly GUI for fast and easy integration.
