Zygo receives $4M production order from major medical device maker

Optical metrology instruments and high-precision optical systems maker Zygo's Optical Systems Division has received an order valued over $4 million from a major medical device manufacturer to produce high-performance lens assemblies.

Optical metrology instruments and high-precision optical systems maker Zygo (Middlefield, CT)'s Optical Systems Division has received an order valued over $4 million from a major medical device manufacturer to produce high-performance lens assemblies.

Manufacturing will take place at Zygo's Electro-Optics assembly location in Tucson, AZ. John Stack, president of the Optical Systems Division, notes that the Tucson location offers large cleanroom space, high unit volume capability, and rapid prototype to production services.
