PRESS RELEASE

MicroPhase® is the first high resolution digital camera compatible with any microscope performing 2D & 3D imaging.

MicroPhase® is an affordable imaging tool for life sciences revealing 3D biological sample structure. Using standard bright field objectives, MicroPhase® provides multiple imaging capabilities including Dark Field, Phase Contrast and DIC.

MicroPhase® fits on any microscope with its standard C-mount as a video CCD camera with no need of additional optics or accessories, adding both advanced 2D and 3D visualization and measurement capabilities without alteration of microscope observation modes. Using digital phase contrast technique, high resolution Bright Field, Dark Field, Quantitative Phase, DIC, and 3D images can be produced with MicroPhase® attached to an optical microscope equipped only with conventional bright field objectives.

Working within or beyond objective depth of field, MicroPhase® can perform 3D Z-stack acquisition in remarkable fast and easy way whatever your sample preparation, provides tools for monitoring morphological changes in living cells in time-lapse imaging and for easy segmentation for cell counting and volume measurement. MicroPhase® reveals finest structural details without specialized optics, provides on-click image documentation with multiple views, performs automatic image fusion (Extended Depth of Field), allows a user to make an extensive set of 2D measurements and edit a measurement report.
