Boston Scientific, Lumenis renew agreement

Medical device maker Boston Scientific and holmium laser technology developer Lumenis recently inked a five-year contract extending their existing commercial agreement.

Medical device maker Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX; Marlborough, MA) and holmium laser technology developer Lumenis (Yokneam, Israel) recently inked a five-year contract extending their existing commercial agreement.

The two companies will promote continued investments in laser and fiber product development for urologic applications. Also under the agreement, Boston Scientific will continue as the exclusive US distributor for Lumenis' holmium laser fibers, which are designed for use with surgical lasers.
