Soft-tissue dental laser maker AMD Lasers (Indianapolis, IN) has entered the hard-tissue dental laser market with a new hard-tissue laser that is FDA-cleared to perform cavity preparations, bone surgery, and a host of soft tissue procedures.
The new laser offers small size and weight for integration into all dentists' offices, according to the company. As part of the laser's package, owners will receive an all-day, in-office training by a certified dental laser hygienist covering treatment planning and billing, laser safety, full office certification, and hands-on clinical training. Owners will also receive a full-day Master Training Course at one of many training centers across America.
