The SearchLight free online tool from Semrock (Rochester, NY) allows selection of the correct fluorophore, light source, detector, and optical filter combinations for a microscope or system. The tool eliminates the need to search multiple sources for spectral data, as it contains an available selection of spectra for over 550 fluorophores, optical filters and filter sets, light sources, and detectors. Users can visually analyze the overlap of spectra and perform instantaneous, quantitative calculations of the desired fluorescence signals, noise levels, and signal-to-noise ratios for unlimited combinations of system components.

SearchLight Online Tool Unveiled for Fluorescence Users
