The Lumen 300-LED white light excitation illumination system from Prior Scientific delivers broad-spectrum LED illumination in fluorescence applications.

The Lumen 300-LED white light excitation illumination system from Prior Scientific (Rockland, MA) delivers broad-spectrum LED illumination in fluorescence applications. The system, which fits directly to most microscopes, offers instant on/off operation via transistor-transistor logic (TTL), manual 0-100 percent intensity control in 1-percent increments, and on/off control for each LED. An optional liquid light guide is available when needing to keep the illumination source remote from the microscope. Providing 25,000+ hr of bulb life, the system requires no special disposal regulations.
