Available in both portable smartphone-based or bench-top versions, the HRDR-300 is a highly sensitive, low-cost fluorescent reader that uses patent-pending technology to analyze fluorescent lateral flow immunoassays with high sensitivity and accuracy. For manufacturers, it has utility as a universal reader for tests of all formats and sizes and at prices that compete with similar bench-top instruments in the market. Coupled with the company's Test Developer, rapid test vendors can obtain deeper insight into the performance of their tests and create reader calibration files for download by end users.

Other features include test and lot number identification as well as test and patient data retrieval from bar/QR codes. The reader has lab and field applications with connectivity to a secure CLOUD server for remote data access and analytics as well as EHR and LIS integration.

The company's rapid test solutions product portfolio also includes chromatographic readers and software and data management solutions. With a suite of reader products, the company has developed customized reader solutions for the clinic/home-use, global health, and lateral flow immunoassay manufacturing markets. The HRDR-300 is compliant with ISO13485 and is registered with the FDA as a Class 1 medical device.

The company also plans to showcase HRDR-300 at the Medica trade fair, to be held November 12-15, 2014, in Dusseldorf, Germany.
