LumiBright UV LE ultraviolet (UV) light-emitting diode (LED) solid-state light engines from Innovations in Optics (Woburn, MA) have uses in epi-illumination for fluorescence imaging, as well as fluorescence-guided surgery and phototherapy. Features include patented non-imaging optics and high-brightness LED arrays with single- or multi-wavelength options available in spectral distributions ranging from 365 to 405 nm. Operating power ranges from less than 1 W up to over 200 W. Fiber-coupled models that accept fiber core diameters from 1 to 8 mm are also available.
