    Immunoassay platform for pathogen identification

The Spectral Reflectance Imaging Biosensor (SRIB) is a multiplexed immunoassay platform that identifies specific protein biomarkers in blood, urine or saliva, and enables many immunoassays to be multiplexed on one small, disposable chip. Its tabletop design incorporates a class IIIb tunable laser, high-resolution camera, fluidics and digital control to automatically carry out specimen delivery, reagent introduction, optical interrogation, specimen disposal and data analysis.

Toolkit for image co-registration, longitudinal study

A toolkit comprising the Living Image Multi-Modality Software Module and the Mouse Imaging Shuttle enables co-registration of images from multiple preclinical imaging modalities, including the IVIS Spectrum optical imaging system. The Mouse Imaging Shuttle immobilizes the animal for transport between the different systems to enable to enable comprehensive, longitudinal imaging of a single animal over multiple time points without harming the subject.

    Photomultiplier tube for fluorescence spectrometers

The R11540 28 mm diameter side-on photomultiplier tube (PMT)features spectral response from 185 to 760 nm, with quantum efficiency of 40% at 350 nm. It features high anode sensitivity, 11.3 × 105 A/W at 350 nm and 12.0 × 105 A/W at 420 nm. High gain (1.0 × 107 typical) makes it suitable for low light detection of UV and visible light in fluorescence spectrometers, as well as a fluorescence detector for HPLC and as a fluorescence immunoassay detector.

CW single-frequency DPSS laser for Raman spectroscopy

The Rumba 05-01 CW single-frequency DPSS laser operates at 1064 nm with up to 2 W CW output power in a TEM00 beam (M2<1.1) for high-resolution Raman spectroscopy, interferometry and optical tweezers experiments. A proprietary cavity design provides typical low noise performance of <0.1% rms (over 20 Hz to 20 MHz and over 10° to 40°C) and a narrow spectral linewidth of <1 MHz. Proprietary HTCure technology in a 115 × 70 × 45 mm package makes the laser able to withstand multiple 60 G mechanical shocks in operation, as well as extreme temperatures to >100°C.
