MHX-series mounts are all-stainless steel holders made for standard 12.7 (0.5-in.) and 25.4-mm (1-in.) mirrors. They feature a hollow-frame design that not only provides a higher moment of inertia to maximize stiffness but also thinner, reduced-mass sections allowing it to reach thermal equilibrium faster than traditionally designed mounts. In addition to their excellent thermal stability and repeatability, they have many other key features, like, front or rear optic loading, alignment pin holes, and center-post mounting.
