The SPM64 miniature spectral sensor consists of a 64-channel micro-patterned bandpass filter array and a hybrid CCD-CMOS imager.

The SPM64 miniature spectral sensor consists of a 64-channel micro-patterned bandpass filter array and a hybrid CCD-CMOS imager. Measuring 2.7 × 2.7 × 1.1 mm, two versions of the sensors will be offered—one for the visible and one for the near-IR. The developer kit includes a prototype sensor mounted on a USB dongle-style circuit board with a microcontroller and various light sources.
