PI hexapod provides six degrees of freedom
The H-811.i2 compact hexapod has a parallel-kinematic design that provides six degrees of freedom, making it more compact and stiff than serial-kinematic systems. It has travel ranges to ±17 mm of ±21°, load capacity to 5 kg, repeatability to ±0.06 μm, and velocity to 20 mm/s. A version compatible with vacuum to 10-6 hPa is available.
