Janos Technology acquired by Fluke Corporation

September 10, 2008--Infrared optics manufacturer Janos Technology (Keene, NH) is pleased to announce that as of August 28, 2008, it has been acquired by Fluke Corporation (Everett, WA), a test and measurement company owned by Danaher(Washington, DC), a diversified technology enterprise. Janos will continue to operate as Janos Technology, as part of Fluke's Thermal Imaging Business Unit, the fastest growing segment of Fluke Corporation. The company fully intends to continue servicing all of its core markets, including Defense/Aerospace, Infrared Imaging, Analytical Instrumentation, and OEM optics and assemblies.

This acquisition represents a significant opportunity for Janos Technology. Under Fluke/Danaher ownership, Janos will have access to resources and business systems that will facilitate unprecedented growth in support of its key markets and customers. Fluke is a global brand in handheld test and measurement with a reputation for rugged, reliable, and accurate products. Founded in 1948, FLUKE and also designs and manufactures low voltage and temperature calibration and metrology equipment, which is the foundation for the performance of its handheld product line.
